Star Lot: A vintage original watercolour and charcoal on coloured paper painting dated 1967 by the artist Edith M. Faucon (b1919 - d. 2019). Titled 'Abbaye Notre Dame du Voeu, Cherbourg' this beautifully lit interior architecture scene feature a Gothic / Romanesque vaulted ceiling and columns. A similar painting by Faucon sold at a London auction in 2022 for £312. Signed bottom left and titled bottom right.
