Star Lot: An original watercolour titled 'Garden Collection' on paper painting . Features a still life painting of a Flowers / Poppies in a vase. Rendered in a rich vibrant colour palette. Signed 'M.phelan' bottom right. Housed in a cream wooden frame behind glass. And dating to 1993.
As an award-winning atmospheric painter and printmaker, ‘colour and mood’ would best describe Phelan's considerable work in watercolour, oil and carborundum limited edition prints. Works are held in private collection worldwide, Public, Corporate and Embassy collections in Ireland.
