Jennifer Kingston started her artistic life in a traditional fashion, attending NCAD, and later married Richard Kingston, RHA, who she freely admits had hugely influenced her work. A formidable artist honing her skills through a series of media, Kingston ultimately settled on her preference, oil. Aidan Dunne, art critic for The Irish Times, called her work a “dazzling series of unorthodox landscapes”.
Kingston has been a frequent exhibitor at the R.H.A. Annual Exhibitions, the Oireachtas exhibitions, Iontas Small Works, and various galleries around the country. Her work is included in private collections and the public collections of AIB, Ulster Bank, OPW, Aer Rianta, Department of Foreign Affairs, E.U Delegate, Brussels.
