Expertly observed with wonderful achievement of natural light as it shines through the branches of the trees and hits the surface of the river. Rendered in a diverse palette of dark greens and light blues. Unsigned to front, inscribed Gainsborough to verso. Presented in a beautiful antique gilt frame.
