Star Lot : A pair of rare and unusual Totai style Japanese Vases from the Meiji period, (1868-1912) Made by the master artist Takeuchi Chubei for Shippo Gaisha. With Blue and white porcelain tops and bottoms overlayed on a fine Cloissone ground with insects and flowers. With an eight character reign mark to base. From the fabulous home in Wellington Road, these are very special. One vase has a small hairline, other than that they are in good order.
