This book tells for the first time the life story (1903-1977) of a remarkable man whose influence spread over three continents. Ray McGrath became a pioneer of the Modern Movement in architecture with the other great names of the 1930s in England. He was an artist of distinction, ending his life as President of the Royal Hibernian Academy. He also made his name as a designer, first in England, later in Ireland, where he was instrumental in reviving Waterford Glass and Donegal Carpets. Sealed as new.
