A stunning, very rare antique metronome by French makers Maelzel, dating to the 19th Century. The metronome is encased in a polished mahogany case, with brass plate bearing the distinctive emblem of the two flowers top and bottom. Inside is a beautiful ebony back revealing the mechanism, in full working order. Marked 274.158 to base, with original key included. Simply gorgeous.
