Star lot: Peter Knox (English b.1942). A wonderful pair of original Peter Knox oil on board paintings titled 'Steamboat' and 'Barges.' Both feature nautical landscape scenes in a loose impressionist style. Two well observed paintings. Both signed lower left with artist's gallery stickers to verso with original prices of £295 each. House in matching wood and gilt frames. Knox's work is popular at auction with works fetching into the mid hundreds.
