Nesbitt (Irish, b.1923) oil on canvas painting featuring a traditional West of Ireland landscape scene of a small village with a young boy and his dog strolling along the winding road. Wonderfully rendered in an impressionist style with confident brushstrokes and accomplished palette. Signed bottom right and housed in a vintage wood and gilt frame. Nesbitt is a well renowned Irish postwar artist whose work fetches into the mid hundreds at auction.
