An intriguing Ita Quilligan (Irish b. 1922 - d. 2017) acrylic on paper painting featuring a sculptural tree stump against a summer landscape. Signed Ita bottom right and housed in a wooden frame behind glass. Quilligan was a student of Lolly Yeats, sister of W.B. Yeats. Her work can be seen for auction through Whytes fetching into the hundreds.
