A lovely antique original oil on board painting titled "Cliffs of Moher County Clare" by the artist E. Cahill dating to c.1920's. Features a textural rendition of the titular choppy cliffside seascape with onlookers watching the struggling sailboats out on the waves. Well observed with nice attention to detail, enhancing the tone of the subject matter. Cahill has auction history, with examples auctioned at Whyte's.
