Star Lot : An intriguing vintage original oil on canvas board painting featuring a frontal portrait of a seated male figure gazing directly at the viewer. Rendered in loose impressionistic brushstrokes in charcoal tones of off whites and blue greys. A shock of red can be seen around the waist of the figure and peeping through his thick white collar. Nicely observed with good detail afforded to the figure's face. Signed E. M. Parsons bottom left and dated to 1977. Housed in a vintage wooden frame with Combridge Fine Arts framer's sticker to verso. We really like this one.
