A magnificent original oil on canvas painting after William Adolphe Bouguereau's "Yvonette" dating to 1867. A well observed copy with lovely blended tones creating a soft appearance to the figure's complexion, with lovely achievement of weight in the folds of her garments. Signed B. Beaumont bottom right and housed in a very fine gilt frame. Unglazed.
