Star Lot : A larger than life-size very heavy bust of the author Homer, famed writer of the Odyssey and Iliad. Appears to have been hand moulded from clay and marbalized. Displays arttactive crazing throughout. A purpose-made hole to base indicates that it was intended for mounting on a pedestal, though suitable for freestanding also. (signs of repair but a very rare amazing piece.
