Star Lot: George Trevor (fl.1920-40) An original early 20th century George Trevor (fl.1920-40) watercolour on paper painting. Features a landscape scene with mountains and streamlet. Rendered in autumnal browns, lilacs and blues. Signed bottom left. Housed in a gilt frame with complementary gilt matting. Trevor sells regularly at auctions, with sales at Whyte's, Adam's and Ross's.
MM: 45 x 54 cm including frame.
Trevor was a watercolour and oil landscape painter. His subjects included views of the Lake District, Wales, and Scotland but most commonly Devon and Cornwall.
