Carl Strickland is an Irish artist based on the East Coast of Ireland. He works primarily in oil but also in pastel and uses both mediums to capture a variety of themes. In his work, Carl captures both familiar and wild places in Ireland that always hold his interest through the changing seasons. Subject matter changes from land and seascapes to familiar still-life, keeping faithful to composition and design that conveys the end result. Carl has been painting and exhibiting work for over twenty years and his works can be found in private and institutional collections.
