Star Lot : An eyecatching large original oil on canvas painting titled "Kian" by the artist Alex O'Donnell. Features an intense abstract composition in the form of an eye rendered in a kaleidoscope of colour with a striking black pupil. Rendered in thick impasto strokes achieved largely with a palette knife, the angular nature of the blue background is contrasted with the circular form of the staring eye. A highly worked and atmospheric piece. Signed and titled to verso.
