Born in Orneta in 1949. Studies in 1966-1972 at the PWSSP in Łódź. He received his diploma in 1972 in the Painting Workshop of prof. Stanisław Fijałkowski and in the Studio of Unique Fabrics prof. Janina Pierzgalska. Since then, he has worked at his home university. In the years 1972-1987 he was an assistant in the Painting Studio of prof. Stanisław Fijałkowski. From 1987 to 2014, he ran the Drawing Workshop at the Faculty of Graphics and Painting, then at the Faculty of Painting and Drawing Workshops of Painting until 2019. He obtained the professor's title in 2000. Creativity in the field of painting, graphic arts and drawing. Participation in about 300 national, international and Polish art exhibitions abroad.
