A charming original watercolour on paper painting titled "Near Rhosneigr, North Wales" by the artist George Monkhouse R. B. S. A. Features the titular coastal landscape, with the masts of sailboats hidden behind the large rocky outcrops, all masterfully rendered in light tones. Signed bottom right and dated to 1968. Housed in a white washed frame.
Monkhouse was president of the Royal Birmingham Society of Artist from 1962-1964.
