Star Lot: A glorious large mid 18th century original watercolour and gouache on paper painting after an original Raphael oil painting titled 'Madonna and child with Saint John the Baptist'. Rendered in impeccable fine brushstrokes with gilt detailing. Great achievement of light and use of tones. Housed in an elaborate gilt frame behind glass. Slight damage to paper portraying age and time.
