Star Lot : An original Jane O'Malley (b. 1944 - d. 2023) limited edition (24/40) carborundum mezzotint print. Features a still life of jug, cup and cherries. Hand signed bottom right with Graphic Studio Gallery sticker to verso. Housed in a limewashed wooden frame behind glass. O'Malley is a well known artist in Ireland with works selling regularly at auction through Adam's, Whyte's and Deveres fetching prices well into the hundreds for similar prints.

Jane O’Malley was born in Montreal, Canada in 1944. From 1969 until 1990 she lived and worked as an artist in St. Ives, Cornwall. In 1973 she married Irish artist Tony O’Malley (1913 – 2003) and in 1990 they settled in Ireland with regular visits to the Isles of Sicilly, the Bahamas, and the Canary Islands. O’Malley has held solo exhibitions at Ulster Museum, Belfast (1984); Montpelier Studio, London (1989); Taylor Galleries, Dublin (1991-1997); Riverrun Gallery, Limerick (1990) and a major retrospective at the Irish Museum of Modern Art, Dublin (2005). Her work can be found in numerous collections including that of the Arts Council of Ireland; the Office of Public Works; and Dublin City University.
