Star Lot: A fabulous original Anne McNulty (Irish, contemporary) oil on canvas painting dating to 1989. Features a view of a figure having dived into a pool, their entire body submerged with the remnants of a splash to be seen at their feet. Fantastically observed with a real accomplishment of light reflecting on the rippling water. Subject matter very reminiscent of David Hockney's "Splash." Signed and dated bottom right and housed in a heavy high quality wood and gilt frame.

Anne McNulty studied at Ireland’s National College of Art and Design. She paints in different genres, with plein air landscape painting most dominant among them.
