Super Star Lot: A Mid 18th century sundial By John Alment Dublin, active 1740-1787 Opticial and instrument maker marked J Alment 'St. Mary's Abbey, Dublin' Sundial engraved with Compass, months, time periods, roman numbers, 'slower' and 'faster' inscribed several times. Features a very heavy three tier pedestal with the sun dial on top. Comes in 3 very heavy pieces, Requires a van to collect. Fabulous piece. With super Dublin History.
