Two lovely original oil on canvas board paintings by the artist Marcel Lindsay dating to 2022. The first titled "From the Shore," the second "Rockshore." Both feature coastal landscapes with lovely detailing on the rocks in the foreground. Loose and sweeping brushstrokes add to the dynamic sense of movement and energy in this piece. Signed bottom right and titled bottom left. Housed in complementary white frames.
Lindsay (b.1968), is a Dublin born artist who took up painting in 2018 following a holiday to West Cork. Working primarily in acrylic and pen, his paintings powerfully capture the mood and colour of the sea, allowing the Dublin coastline to feed the narrative of his work.
