Star Lot : A framed vintage O.B.E. medal and photograph of awardee, presented by George VI. Gilt O.B.E. medal in the shape of cross with round disc at centre. Obverse of disc has profile of King and Queen with words 'For God and the Empire' in band around. Reverse features monogram of the King. Above the cross sits a gilt crown with red & grey ribbon attached. Medal is fixed into a frame holding a black and white photograph of the recipient with his family, all wearing their best attire.
