Special Star Lot. In 1948-1949 Ireland Won the triple crown in back to back years, for only the 3rd and 4th time in Irish Rugby history. In 1949 at the Champions Dinner, A table cloth was signed by all the players and coaching staff of the winning Irish Team, the Table cloth was sent off to be hand Embroidered. So we have a fabulous one off piece of Irish Rugby History the cloth itself is in very good condition with lots of Irish Imagery and the dates in the centre. It comes with a 1980s Book The golden years of Irish Rugby with an image of the winning teams from 1948 and 1949 and list of the players and Also another signed piece which looks like a lions tour of South Africa from the 1960s I would guess. So three items but the table cloth is very special, the owner sent an image to valuation company and was told €1000-2000 but with like any unique items it depends what people are willing to pay but this is Museum quality and very very special.
