Star Lot: A wonderful watercolour on paper painting. Features an Interior of a Church with a seated priest. Rendered in soft brushstrokes with shades of yellow ochre and blues. Great achievement of light. Initialed 'W. Muller' to base of matting. With pencil inscription 'W.B Miller 1815-1845' to verso. Along with a 'William Rodman and Co' sticker to verso. Housed in a wooden glit frame behind glass. Slight foxing to paper portraying age.
