A very sweet original Vanda Luddy (Galway, contemporary) pastel on coloured paper drawing featuring a portrait of a young girl cradling her pet rabbit. Softly rendered with lovely tenderness in the girl's expression. Signed to base and dated to 1998. Housed in a fine wooden frame with oval matting. This piece is an early example of Luddy's work, her originals not widely available.

Vanda Luddy has been painting since 1997. Her work includes landscapes, seascapes, street scenes, portraits, animals portraits, flowers and fauna. Vanda has exhibited a number of times with great success and her work has been bought by many private collectors both here and abroad and also by the Bon Secours Hospital, Galway Corporation, NUIG, GMIT, and many of the multi-national companies based in Galway.
