Star Lot: Arthur Abbott (fl.1804-1843) An original elegant watercolour on paper painting. Features a mother and child seated beneath a tree. Rendered in soft shades in delicate neat brushstrokes. Great achievement of light on the figures. Dealer's sticker along with date of circa 1820 and original price of £395 to verso. More recently housed in an attractive gilt frame behind glass.
