Star lot : A stunning antique marble bust of the Veiled Bride by A. Filli Firenze, Italy as inscribed on the base of the bust. This piece is after the sculpture by Raffaelle Moni. This bust features fantastic detail, masterfully capturing the lightness of the delicate fabric. The bust is atop of a black plinth, which holds a large medal inset on the base. The medal features Fame and reads 'Vires Acquirit Eundo' in Latin, which means 'We gather strength as we go'.
